In gallery I hit the delete icon. The pictures go into the trash folder. I go to trash (still in gallery) and hit the delete icon again but they will not delete. It says they will delete in 15 days. I don't undetstand why! I really want em gone asap. Thanks

I hit the three dots in the top right then hit settings and the trash button is under cloud sync.

I don't see it on my Gallery either. Are you using the stock Gallery from Samsung?
If you're using something different, I suspect that you'll be able to empty the trash from whatever cloud storage that you use. You may have to do it from a browser. If that's the case, you may find a setting that will allow you to bypass the trash folder.

Stock Gallery app. From the main page, hit the 3 dots, upper right corner, click on settings. You'll see trash. Inside the trash setting are copies of every photo deleted in the past 15 days. Photos may be retrieved. After 15 days, they vanish.
At least this is in the at&t version.05-20-2017 10:36 PM

Nope. I see that you're using Samsung's Cloud Sync. I don't. I wonder if that's the difference?
